Sonya will be presenting the expressive art workshop "Reverse Coloring: Let Go & Be Present" is a combination of painting with watercolor and basic drawing. Sonya is an artist and social worker. During the covid pandemic, Sonya used visual art online as a form of expression and relaxation with a variety of populations where she had the honor of working with first responders, seniors, covid long haulers and children.Working with watercolor allows the painter a chance to recognize what we may or may not have control over while the drawing portion allows us to be present and stay grounded in the moment. This creative experience is an opportunity to dabble in self-care through the visual arts modality. Whether you are an experienced artist or have never held a paintbrush before, this workshop is for you!   Supplies will be provided.

Light dinner and refreshments will be provided before the meeting.
